Hi!  I'm Melissa and I'm a Photographer!

About me? 

Let me first start by saying how thankful I am to have the opportunity to use my God given talent doing what I love.  I give him thanks for my talent and blessings and will always put him first.  I am also blessed to meet so many wonderful people along my journey!

My love of photography goes as far back as I can remember and as a teen, my younger siblings were my perfect models.  I studied at NY Institute of Photography, and continue to work on enhancing my skills through workshops and training.  Learning is a life long journey.

Capturing memories that would otherwise be lost in time is such an important and rewarding part of my job.  Life goes by so quickly, with days fading into years.  Photographs are beautiful reminders of moments past that can never be relived; however, they can be revisited through photographs and memories.. I can get lost in days gone by while going through photos and reminiscing.

My work has been featured locally, as well as nationally in calendars, television, book covers, social media, corporate websites and marketing materials, and digital billboards in Times Square.

I spend much of my time and do most of my work in Wilmington, NC and the Salt Lake City, Utah area! That said - my motto is  "Have camera, will travel!"  I am willing to travel just about anywhere for a photo shoot!
